This paper explores creative methods to obtain answers to these
and other questions, in support of your online objectives. Specifically,
we focus on ways that organisations may employ an online survey
together with java script-based technology, to gather in-depth customer
data. In doing so, the paper also draws an important distinction
between traditional channels, and the web. We then argue that this
distinction represents the main driver for examining the "technical
signature" of otherwise anonymous web site visitors.
