Adapting UX Practices for the Future of the Interface
The Future of the Interface - 2022 Update
Technology - and the way customers interact with it - is quickly changing and the pace of change is ever accelerating. As UX professionals, whether designers, developers, or researchers, we must ask ourselves how we must adapt to ensure our work remains relevant and effective and produces profitable and sustainable outcomes.
This white paper addresses how we at Phase 5 see the future of the interface evolving, and in this, our 2022 version, we specifically address the impacts of virtual reality and the metaverse. We provide our perspective on the implications of this evolution for UX professionals and the changes we will need to make to the way we work.
