ESOMAR Welcomes Phase 5 as a Corporate Member

Phase 5 is very pleased to announce its membership with ESOMAR, the global voice of the data, research, and insights community. This official relationship demonstrates Phase 5's ongoing commitment to honest, objective research practices, professional standards, and data ethics as we proudly adhere to the ICC/ESOMAR Code of Conduct and associated guidelines.

Since 1947, ESOMAR's aim has been "to promote the value of data, research, and insights in effective decision-making". With over 500 corporate members and a community of over 40,000 members from over 130 countries, this unique not-for-profit organization brings together research and insights professionals globally through events, publications, and best practice guidelines.

As a global champion of the insights sector, ESOMAR provides a number of services to its members and community, including

  • Education - content and activities to keep members up to date on the latest techniques and applications
  • Inspiration - by connecting a vast network of industry peers, as well as the academic community to "bridge the world of theory and practice"
  • Advocacy - ensuring public officials understand "the value that members' work plays in supporting societies"
  • Feedback Tools - providing free tools for members of the public to "raise concerns" about any research.

ESOMAR also provides ethical guidance and actively promotes self-regulation in partnership with a number of associations around the world. All ESOMAR members agree to abide by the ICC/ESOMAR International Code on Market and Social Research, which has been jointly drafted by ESOMAR and the International Chamber of Commerce and is endorsed by the major national and international professional bodies around the world.

At Phase 5, not only are we committed to the higher standards ESOMAR requires of its corporate members, we also take our role very seriously as industry leaders who are responsible for actively educating our colleagues about research standards. We encourage you to learn more about the ICC/ESOMAR International Code, and consider participating in International Market Research Day Celebrations in April/May where you'll discover how insights and analytics projects around the world are helping us to meet the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals. Learn and be inspired!
