Key Takeaways from ESOMAR Congress, Now on YouTube

ESOMAR Congress has been called the "world's largest summit of Insights and Analytics professionals", and was back, in-person, in Toronto, Canada in September 2022. If you missed this important industry event, don't worry; we've got you covered. Several Phase 5 team members were in attendance, and shared their key takeaways in this article published shortly afterwards. As well, in addition to the above article, we've just published excerpts from a brief interview with Stephan Sigaud (Phase 5 EVP Marketing) discussing highlights from the event.

Now available on Phase 5's Youtube channel, this short video captures a conversation between Insights Association Canadian Chapter Board Director (and Nestlé Canada Consumer & Shopper Insights Manager) Steve Olsen, and Stephan Sigaud following the conference.

As Steve notes, there can be so many great speakers and so much happening at the event that it becomes somewhat overwhelming and difficult to "crystallize" the learnings. This interview is meant to pull out some of the pieces that were most impactful, and keep the conversation going.

For example, in this video Stephan shares that one of the most thought provoking presentations included a discussion of the frequently asked question, "When do we expect things will get back to normal (i.e. post-COVID)?" This particular speaker turned the question around, and suggested that we may have been missing an opportunity to look forward and imagine a different world. As researchers, we can help our clients imagine a better future.

For more examples and discussion points, we encourage you to take 5 minutes and catch up on the conversation now. You can watch the entire video here
