Phase 5 - Research Partner for the Canadian Marketing Association

Written by Stephan Sigaud | May 31, 2023

We are proud to have been chosen as the Canadian Marketing Association's research partner for their 2023 Member Survey. Conducted early in 2023, the study was designed to better understand the needs and challenges impacting the Canadian marketing community. Insights from the study have already helped the CMA further develop member benefits and prioritize new initiatives, including the following:

(1) New Training - 97% of survey respondents rated the future of marketing as their top thought leadership topic, followed closely by emerging trends and how technological advancements (e.g., ChatGPT) are impacting marketing. Based on these findings, the association is introducing new training sessions like How AI Can Make You a Better Marketer, beginning June 5, 2023.

(2) New Resources - such as the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Resource Hub - Ensuring the profession is increasingly diverse and inclusive, and that campaigns and media strategies are inclusive and equitable are clearly important priorities for CMA members, prompting the recent launch of this new resource hub.

(3) New Programs - Creating opportunities for students and young marketers to learn also ranks as a high priority for CMA members. The CMA NXT program has been designed to deliver on this priority. 600 students and young marketers have already benefited from this initiative.

Supporting, educating and advancing the marketing profession is core to the CMA. Its leaders are committed to giving members a voice so that the association evolves in a way that maximizes the value delivered to them.  Phase 5 is pleased and honoured to have been able to leverage our expertise in strategic research, insights, and analytics to support the CMA with its mission.
