Phase 5 Hires New Senior UX Research Analyst
As demand for data-driven insights and analytics continues to grow, we have once again expanded our UX analytics team so that we can continue to provide top notch service to our clients. We are pleased to welcome Evan Rees to our team as Senior UX Research Analyst.
Based in Toronto, Evan holds an undergraduate degree in Sociocultural Anthropology, as well as a Masters of Information in User Experience Design from University of Toronto. Like Phase 5, this graduate program "recognizes the demand for professionals who can envision, design, and evaluate outstanding user experiences for digital products".
Evan believes that putting the user at the centre of research is a key to success, and so he is thrilled to be joining a customer-centric organization. He has a passion for research, and for designing accessible, innovative, and creative solutions for users as a result of keeping them at the center of this process.
Evan's passion and education combined with his professional experience have honed his skills in user testing, analysis, and reporting. Prior to Phase 5, he has worked for academic research teams including LINCS (a project which is "converting large datasets into an organized, interconnected, machine-processable set of resources for Canadian cultural research"), and CANUE (a project whose mission is "to increase knowledge on how various... <urban exposures>, both individually and in combination, affect health").
Fun fact: In his spare time, Evan creates original artwork in various formats and media, seeking inspiration wherever possible.
Phase 5 is proud to welcome Evan to our Toronto-based team. He is a very valuable addition to our UX group, and will be a tremendous asset for our clients.
