Phase 5 is excited to share that NYPAY - New York’s leading forum for innovators and leaders in payments and mobile commerce - has invited us to be the featured speaker at their October event. Banking & Payments professionals won't want to miss this opportunity to hear Phase 5 partners Michael Dolenko and Steve Hansen present:

COVID-19 and Financial Services: How the Pandemic Has Impacted and Will Continue to Impact the Banking and Payments Sectors

Findings are based on the results of our July 2020 survey of household decision-makers in the United States. (Note: Canadian version also available. Contact us.)

This study digs in to better understand how consumers' financial outlook has been impacted by the pandemic, how behaviors have changed, and whether those changes are likely to last. From there, we've identified opportunities for Financial Institutions (FIs) in the banking, payments, insurance and wealth management sectors to adjust their customer interactions and experiences for this new and dynamic environment. Research highlights include:

  *   American consumers have concerns about their financial future, regardless of whether their household income has been negatively impacted by the pandemic.

  *   COVID has presented new opportunities for digital transformation which many consumers are embracing, although digital doesn't work for every interaction.

  *   Consumers want better communication from their FIs.

About NYPAY

NYPAY, a non-profit organization, has been hosting evening events in New York City since 2006. These events replicate the best part of multi-day conferences: the ad-hoc conversations with interesting people you do not meet during your daily routine. To do this, they connect innovators and leaders from the payments industry and all it touches: issuers, merchants, networks, FinTech startups, regulators, and others.
