NYPAY Panel on State of Small Business Banking - Post-Pandemic

On September 19th, 2023, Phase 5's Steve Hansen will join 4 other esteemed industry leaders to highlight recent research findings and to discuss the "State of Small Business Banking - Post-Pandemic". This virtual event (happening from 6-7:30pm EDT) has been organized by NYPAYthe premier association dedicated to connecting innovators and leaders in the payments, banking, and fintech industry.

The Small Business market comprises 90% of businesses worldwide and employs over 50% of workers. During the pandemic, small businesses faced a myriad of challenges that some financial institutions met but many did not. Banks and credit unions are realizing that those needs are not being met, and 65% of those financial institutions are planning to make changes to better meet small business needs now and in the next few years.

This event will kick-off with Hansen reviewing our most recent 2023 Small Business Banking study and focus on small business needs related to payments and banking services, post pandemic. Following that 30-minute presentation, there will be a 45-minute panel discussion of the following topics:

  • What do financial institutions provide today to meet small business needs?
  • What small business needs are not being met by financial institutions?
  • What are we seeing in terms of the delivery of in-branch vs. digital banking solutions?
  • What small business needs will be met by new products and/or platforms?

The Event will conclude with a short networking session where attendees will be able to meet and speak with other attendees in a small group.

Don't miss it! Register here.
