Stephan describes findings from Phase 5's recent research that illustrate how Financial Services enterprises can better serve small & medium businesses (SMBs) to strengthen customer relationships, build loyalty, and grow business. Key moments of truth include day-to-day support, the digital user experience, and a thoughtful account set-up process. He goes on to describe the important role that research can play in defining the customer base, mapping the customer journey, and assessing areas that will yield the greatest impact for a particular organization.
This article is part of a series of Insights articles inspired and informed by our State of SMB 2021 study, completed with our agency partner Cargo earlier this year.
