In addition to the Phase 5 presentation, NEXT will explore how insights professionals can spot future consumer trends and how we can take a central role in creating cultures of change and evolution. About the speakers:

Steve is regularly invited to speak at industry events on customer centricity throughout the innovation cycle, and was a lecturer in Innovation in the Peking University Guanghua MBA program. More recently in 2021, he has been a featured presenter at two webinars for product development and innovation professionals: (1) a February PDMA professional development event entitled FEQs in JTBD Innovation Research, and (2) the Insights Association April webinar entitled Jobs to be Done: A Framework for Uncovering Customer Needs

Nicole is a consumer anthropologist who works in innovation at IPEX, a leading manufacturer of thermoplastic pipes and fittings in North America. At IPEX, she owns the new product ideas pipeline and brings customer insight into the product development process. Her team conducts qualitative and quantitative research, facilitates ideation sessions, and utilizes third party suppliers, such as Phase 5, to extend their team. Prior to IPEX, Nicole was a founding member of a CX/UX insight consulting practice.
