Phase 5 Partners with the CMA for 2021 Study of Marketers' Needs

Phase 5 is pleased to have been selected by the Canadian Marketing Association (CMA) as their research and consulting partner for a 2021 study of Canadian marketing professionals. Within the context of the CMA’s growth initiative, this study will focus on updating and resetting priorities for service to members along the dimensions of the CMA’s three strategic pillars:

  • Standards of Excellence
  • Influence
  • Community Building

As the “voice of the marketing profession in Canada,” the CMA serves more than 400 corporate, not-for-profit, public and post-secondary education member organizations, including Canada’s most prestigious brands. This community brings together marketing professionals from all aspects of the marketing function. The organization provides thought leadership and advocacy, in addition to supporting professional development, consumer protection, and commercial success.

With this new study, the CMA aims to capture the latest thinking of its member base; i.e. their post-pandemic perspectives and attitudes, challenges and opportunities, needs and concerns. Business priorities were turned upside down in 2020. Digital transformation was accelerated, creativity was stretched to new limits, and consumers changed. As a customer-centric organization, the CMA will adapt and evolve to serve their members’ new reality.

As a seasoned and successful Canadian market research firm, Phase 5 is perfectly suited to lead this research initiative. For over 30 years, Phase 5 has been helping clients on their journey to customer-centricity through innovation and experience, bringing together expertise in market research, user and customer experience, innovation and design, and advanced analytics. The Phase 5 team of experts will leverage their experience to inform survey design and data analysis, leading to actionable insights that will enable the CMA to deliver an improved, customer-centric experience to its members in the post-COVID world.

We encourage all marketers, whether they are current CMA members or not, to participate in the study before the July 30, 2021 deadline. Your voices today will determine how the "voice of the marketing profession in Canada" looks in the future. For more information, please connect with Stephan Sigaud, EVP Marketing at Phase 5.
