Phase 5 EVP Recognized for Contribution to Small Business Community

In June 2023, Phase 5's EVP of Marketing, Stephan Sigaud, was honoured to have received a letter of recognition from The Honourable Mary Ng, Canada's Minister of International Trade, Export Promotion, Small Business and Economic Development. She was moved to acknowledge Stephan's efforts based on his appointment as a judge for the 2022 CanadianSME National Business Awards

The letter expresses her "admiration and appreciation" for Stephan's "important contribution as a member of the judging panel", and goes on to say how "this prestigious position is a testament to <Stephan's> high standard of leadership and professionalism within the Canadian business community and beyond." This type of praise echoes our sentiments at Phase 5; we are grateful to have Stephan as a member of our leadership team.

The CanadianSME Business Awards site explains that the awards were designed "to recognize and applaud the contribution that small business owners provide to Canada’s economy... to provide support and recognition to the entrepreneurs who work hard in making their small businesses a success. Canadian entrepreneurs... are the innovators of our country. Through their flourishing businesses, they push our economy to the next level and are what our communities are structured on." The Honourable Mary Ng further recognizes Stephan's inspirational efforts and accomplishments, noting how his "role as judge has helped to identify and reward those companies that have made exceptional contributions to the Canadian economy."

Congratulations on this well-deserved recognition, Stephan, and thank you for sharing your talents outside of Phase 5 to support small & medium businesses.
